Episode 11 (9/10 Fantastic!)
Impression:
I like Tsubaki much better now that the writers have delved into her character. I hadn’t felt before that she could become one of my favorite characters. She’s subtle and very different from Maka or Patty and Liz. The battle scene, which basically went on through the entire episode, was amazing. The background art created the right mood for it, I think. The villagers really made me mad, though. It was obvious that Black Star and Tsubaki weren’t hurting anybody. Did anyone else think the vacuum metaphor was a little trite?
