Episode 04 (8/10 Great)
Impression:
The reason the pacing in this slow-paced series works and the slow pacing in shows like Munto TV is this: atmosphere. Munto TV is trying to achieve the atmosphere of an action show, but nothing’s happening. That’s why I mark off on pacing for Munto TV and some of the others. But, Natsu no Sora has never professed to be anything other than a laid-back thinking show. I was glad to see the street guitarist again. The strength of this show is its interesting characters; now what they have to do is develop them. Midorikawa-kun (who looks better with his hat on) had a pretty rough past and his mother is a jerk, in my opinion. He could easily become my favorite character.
Suggestive Content:
The use of magic.
Rating:
Animation: 9/10
Characters: 9/10
Writing: 8/10
Pacing: 8/10
Enjoyment: 9/10
