K-ON! 12

Episode 12 (10/10 Masterpiece)
Impression:
This is our Budokan!
I don’t care what anyone says, this episode rocked! It was the best episode it could have been. That’s the KyoAni I love! Was the series a mediocre moe? Yes. Was it 100% fluff? Yes. But that doesn’t change the fact that this episode was amazing. The writing was better than it has ever been: clear, flowing. I loved the reminiscent sequence when Yui is running to get Geeta. The characters’ chemistry was adorable. The art and animation was beautiful… I give it a standing ovation.
Suggestive Content:
Sawa-sensei could tell Ui was pretending to be Yui because her breasts are bigger.

First Look @ Sea Story

Episode 01 (7/10 Just Barely Above Average)
Impression:
A pretty basic mermaid-type story which raises the usual questions and falls into the groove of the usual plotline, characters, devices, and jokes. However, the art wasn’t too bad; I thought a couple of the character designs were pretty. The animation was smooth and clear, coupled with watercolor backgrounds, appropriate for this story. This could become an enjoyable series, but I don’t have very big expectations for it. Still, it managed to be better than I had anticipated. I liked Marin and Kanon, especially Kanon; I'd like to learn more about them. Sea Story kind of reminds me of Seto no Hanayome with a Pretear aura. It was created by the studio that did H2O and Wagaya no Oinarisama, which I didn't particuarly like but this episode was fairly cute and I blogged Munto... so, I might try to blog this show… maybe.
Suggestive Content:
The swimsuits Marin and Urin wear are very revealing and there are several shots between their legs while bystanders stare…
