Episode 03 (9/10 – Fantastic)
Impression:
I’m impressed by the subtlety of the writing. The writers aren’t too quick to reveal or introduce everything. When they do reveal background or characters to the audience, it’s done skillfully. This is what I mean by pacing (one of the areas I rate at the bottom of each post.) This is where Munto TV has its trouble. We get a glimpse of another Shikabane Hime working with Keisei’s group: a little, catlike blonde girl. She reminds me of Eimi from Nuku Nuku – and, indeed, every spicy little blonde girl in anime. Makina’s background is mentioned. A fire.
Suggestive Content:
A new woman shown talking to Keisei is wearing a very revealing “shirt.” Shikabane is a horror anime, so it has some frightening or disturbing elements and some violence.
Rating:
Animation: 9/10
Characters: 8/10
Writing: 8/10
Pacing: 9/10
Enjoyment: 9/10
