Episode 01 (7/10 – Above Average)
Impression:
Stunning visuals! The contrast between the very detailed, realistic background and the simple style of Kobayashi Osamu works so beautifully. Now, a couple years ago I tried watching Someday’s Dreamers and was not at all impressed. I like the atmosphere of this sequel, though. The original manga is lovely, so it’s good to see an art style that compliments the original art. As for the characters, they are very likeable. I feel more drawn to the heroine than I was the main heroine of Someday’s Dreamers.

Sora has a bath scene. The whole story centers around a young girl trying to become a mage like her father.

Pacing: 7/10 (It’s slowly paced, but that alone is not necessarily bad.)
