Now this is true Japanese culture and personality. That’s what interests me most about this show; it’s not over-exaggerated or a mock job of Western pop culture. Also, it has a distinct Ghibli feel. Not only is it set in the 1920’s, it feels like it was made in the 1920’s. A real Disney’s Cinderella or Snow White-type of show. I’m looking forward to what’s going to happen to these girls.
