First Look @ Kurokami

Episode 01 (7/10- Above Average)
Impression:
I had suspected that Kuro would be a tsundere like most main girls in these kinds of shows. Actually, she's cheery and funny. The concept of three of the same person walking in the earth, one root and two subs, is interesting. I wonder what they'll do with it. It seems that Kurokami has already been liscenced (just my luck.) Which is irritated, because I'd like to watch it. Compared to Shikabane Hime, which is in the same vein, it's not as enjoyable, but I've never been very prejudiced when it comes to anime. Sunrise (Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star), who has been around forever, is handling this one, so it'll fun to see if they've still got it. Kurokami is based on a Korean manhwa; so, it was obviously good enough to catch attention in another country.
Suggestive Content:
There are three deaths. Considering this is the first episode, it's likely there'll be more; but, I'm betting at least his friend will be brought back because of the emotional interest they've invested in her and because of the foreshadowed death of the main character. This episode has a good deal of blood. Kuro, a girl, fights with a man much bigger than she is and for a while gets a little more than she gives. (I mention this for those who believe that men should not beat up little girls.) Akane's shirt button pops off and her chest falls out.
