Episode 04 (6/10 Good)
Ah, the dying breed of the pencil… We should all do our best to make our pencils last, take good care of them, treat them with the respect and love we show our art.
Seriously, give me a break. I hate how characters give so much importance to completely trivial items in anime. In a normal shop, even after the grandmother died, if a customer came in, looking for pencils, it would be: Will this be all? $1.95 please. And that would be the end of it. Anime characters are too aware that they are in a fictional place. The theatrics are growing every day. Geijutsuka is entertaining enough to watch. I actually like their approach to the gag genre better. They know they’re there for the gags and don’t try to pretend like they have a story or even a point like Hidamari Sketch did. Tomokane’s dream was very funny!
Nothing to mention.
Animation: 6/10 – I like the artwork in their promotional stuff
