K-ON! 11

Episode 11 (8/10 Great)
Impression:
The first half of this episode wasn’t much to talk about, but the exploration of Mio and Ritsu’s relationship was wonderful and it kicked up the rating for this episode. I felt that strength of KyoAni to create gripping emotion for just a moment in the last half of the episode. Ritsu turned out to be more realistic than I had thought she was. I know several girls who act the way she did around their friends. With only two more episodes left, I hope to see another glimpse of KyoAni’s emotional mastery.
Suggestive Content:
Azusa watches a video of Mio’s accidental panty flash in their first performance.
Rating:
Animation: 9/10
Characters: 9/10
Writing: 8/10
Pacing: 7/10
Enjoyment: 9/10

K-ON! 10

Episode 10 (8.5/10 Wonderful)
Impression:
This show needs more music! It’s a show about a band, so why is there so little music? The songs they’ve sung I’ve really loved and are so cute. I wonder if the creators are just being lazy… or crazy. (Have I used that joke before?) Also, there were too many still shots. Anyway, it’s good to see Asuza getting to know the other band members. I can’t believe how dark she got, though. She looked Indian.
Suggestive Content:
There’s a bath scene and Sawa-sensei threatens to fondle Asuza and Mio to figure out who is who.
