I arrived home last night from my church's mission trip to Michigan. What I saw God do and the people I met have changed me and threw lighter fluid on my heart. I don't want to go back to who I was or what I was doing before I left.
While there God gave me the privilege of being involved in so much of what He was doing. It's times like this mission trip that I understand the blessing of being in His will. We did a backyard Bible school and a VBS, bought gifts for children in a homeless shelter; I visited a correctional facility for child offenders (the girls' center; they wouldn't let me in the boys center.)
I won't waste small words on such a vast experience - because I can't capture what happened there in words. However, expect to see a change in me and what's important to me.
I learned there the incredible importance of Christian encouragement. I'm telling you this because this is why I started a Christian anime blog.
(Sorry, no pictures for this one.)

New Developments and more Yui pictures!
I remember how I used to leisurely watch blocks of anime in the afternoon and it was so peaceful. But, since I started this blog I haven't been able to watch anime like that. I think I've been a bit too ambitious. So, from now on, I'm going to focus completely on shows from this season, with some First Looks and reviews of older anime thrown in.
This way, I'm not so stressed and I'll be able to have my leisurely afternoons and my blog at the same time.

An explanation and excuse for posting several Yui pictures!

I feel I owe an explanation for my recent actions, so I will shortly and succinctly, while at the same time using too many cute Yui pictures! - Somebody stop me!
1) The discontinuation of some series I committed to blog, i.e. Bounen no Xamdou, Kurokami, Skip Beat, and Shikabane Hime Aka.
In the case of the first three: they suck, I don't like them, they're dropped. Cry me a river.
As for Shikabane Hime Aka, I watched it with my anime club and got lost in time. I will say that is was a very good series and I'm going to watch the second season.
2) The cut back on screencaps.
It was too much for me to post 60 screencaps for each episode, considering the old picture
uploader Blogger.com has (no offense.)
uploader Blogger.com has (no offense.)So, I'm limiting myself to 30 per post.
3) I need to tell you that I miss watching anime "just for fun" so I might decide to clump episodes together into one post.
Summertime is upon me and I'm out of classes now (just have finals) so I'll be blogging a little differently.

Hello, Navi

Hello, Lain.
There is no shortage of anime blogs on the net. I didn't start this blog to advance the quanity or quality of anime blogs. There are, however, few blogs that examine anime through a Christian perspective.
I have no intention of making this my gimmick, or whatever. Though, I want to provide information about the content so that Christian viewers can decided what they want to watch. I've found that it all comes down to what you're willing to see in order get a good story. I've researched anime for myself for about 3-4 years... so, I like to think I have a good head for anime.
All I want is a media to gather my thoughts about the shows I watch. I will be honest about the content, my opinion, and my recommendations.
I hope that those who read this blog will find my rants helpful.
