Hetalia Axis Powers: 18

Episode 18 (8/10 Great)
Impression:
What in the world was that? I’m not quoting, I’m asking. What was that? It was a very funny episode, but it’s annoying how they used the same footage over and over. Are they running out of steam now that the series is drawing to a close? Regardless, Rome’s appearance, as weird as it was, was pretty funny. The Pokemon reference was my favorite part, though. I would have liked to see some of the other countries fight, but the writers have to follow history, of course.
Suggestive Content:
Nothing to mention; except maybe that Rome appears the second time surrounded by fawning women.

Hetalia Axis Powers 16 & 17

Episode 16 & 17 (8.5/10 Very Great)
Impression:
I loved seeing the back story of America and Japan! Usually, Hetalia doesn’t allow for much serious character relationship development. The past between England and America is sad, and it will become sadder next episode. I don’t understand why they advertised that episode so much and when it finally came time to show it, they inserted a dieting side story. It doesn’t make sense. The interaction between Japan and China was funny; I’m sure you will enjoy it.
